Dual Toning Designed for Your Skin
Combining laser toning with Genesis does not mean using the same settings for everyone. We assess pigment depth, skin response, redness, elasticity and pores before planning treatment.
① Pigmentation-focused skin
For melasma, blemishes or superficial pigmentation, treatment can emphasize laser toning to help improve an uneven skin tone.
② Mixed concerns
When pigmentation and redness coexist, low-output treatment across a broader area may be considered to limit irritation.
③ Redness-focused skin
For redness and warmth around the cheeks or nose, repeated Genesis treatment may help stabilize small blood vessels and support skin barrier recovery.
④ Fine lines and reduced firmness
For thin, dry skin with fine lines, controlled thermal stimulation may encourage collagen formation and improve texture and firmness.
⑤ Enlarged pores
When acne marks or visible pores are the main concern, treatment may use deeper thermal stimulation to support skin remodeling.
How We Personalize Dual Toning
We consider pigment depth and distribution, skin sensitivity and response speed, and associated concerns such as laxity, redness and pores. Wavelength, output, handpiece and the number of passes are selected for the individual.
Who May Consider This Treatment
People seeking improvements in pores or texture that previous toning has not addressed, those hoping for changes within fewer sessions, or those with prominent pigmentation, melasma or mixed pigment concerns may discuss suitability with the clinician.
Treatment Sequence

Q&A
Answers to the questions we hear most.
What is the generally recommended interval and number of sessions for Dual Toning?
Typically, it is recommended to receive treatment at intervals of 1 to 2 weeks. Consistent management may be necessary for sufficient improvement, so more than 10 sessions might be recommended. However, these are general guidelines, and the appropriate treatment cycle and number of sessions can vary depending on individual skin condition and pigment type. It is best to consult thoroughly with medical staff before deciding on a treatment plan.
Can acne appear after toning treatment?
In some cases, acne may appear after the treatment due to a temporary increase in sebaceous gland activity. In most cases, it subsides naturally over time. It is important to avoid excessive irritation to the skin after the procedure and to pay attention to moisturizing. If acne persists for more than a week or causes severe discomfort, it is recommended to visit the clinic, show your condition to the medical staff, and receive appropriate measures.
Cautions
Results = Treatment × Aftercare. Please follow the notes below.
For about a week after the procedure, please refrain from using exfoliating or peeling products that can cause skin irritation.
To prevent new pigmentation and protect the skin, it is recommended to minimize exposure to UV rays and make it a habit to meticulously apply sunscreen when going outdoors.
On the day of the procedure, avoid visiting high-temperature and humid places such as saunas, public baths, jjimjilbangs, and swimming pools. It is also recommended to refrain from smoking and drinking, as these can hinder skin soothing and recovery.
