Q&A
Answers to the questions we hear most.
I'm curious about the level of pain during the procedure.
During the procedure, a dual tip is used to deliver energy to two depths in a single attempt, and 49 pins allow for treatment of a wide area. To reduce pain, anesthetic cream is applied beforehand, and most patients find the pain to be tolerable. The level of pain may vary individually.
How long does it take to return to daily life after the procedure?
In most cases, daily life can be resumed on the day of or the day after the procedure. However, for those with sensitive skin, redness or subtle marks may persist for about 2-3 days.
How is the appropriate number of treatment sessions determined?
The number of treatment sessions may vary depending on the type and depth of the individual's skin lesions. Generally, 3 to 5 sessions are common. The personalized number of treatments will be determined with the director through consultation. After the predetermined number of sessions, the skin condition will be checked with a Mark-Vu diagnostic device, and further treatment will be discussed.
I am taking acne medication (isotretinoin); can I still undergo the procedure?
Yes, the procedure is possible even while taking this medication.
When can I apply makeup after the procedure?
Usually, light makeup is possible from the day after the procedure. We recommend gently patting on makeup rather than rubbing your skin.
Cautions
Results = Treatment × Aftercare. Please follow the notes below.
It is advisable to refrain from saunas, steam rooms, swimming, water play, smoking, and alcohol for about a week after the procedure.
After the procedure, pay attention to skin moisturizing care, drink plenty of water, and always apply sunscreen when going out to protect your skin.
Very small scabs may form on the treated area. Allow these scabs to fall off naturally and be careful not to pick them off intentionally.
