Kkeuthan Clinic Dual Toning Approach
Here are the characteristics of Kkeuthan Clinic Dual Toning.
Combining laser toning and Genesis treatment does not mean it's applied in the same way to everyone.
At Kkeuthan Clinic, when performing dual toning, we meticulously assess each individual's skin condition,
to provide a more precise and efficient treatment.
During the treatment, we don't just focus on the number of shots or the equipment name.
By analyzing the depth and distribution of pigmentation, the skin's reaction, and various complex factors such as elasticity, redness, and pores,
we establish a customized treatment plan based on a total of five subdivided design criteria.
① Pigment-Focused Type – Skin with prominent melasma, freckles, and epidermal pigmentation
This refers to cases where a high density of melanin pigment is observed in the epidermal layer of the skin.
In such cases, it may be necessary to focus on intensive pigment management primarily with laser toning.
The focus is on improving overall skin clarity and evenness.
② Combination Problem Type – Skin with melasma and observed redness
This presents as a complex pattern of dermal pigmentation and vascular redness.
In this case, it may be recommended to gradually induce a response over a wide area with lower power rather than strong stimulation.
This method can be considered for individuals with sensitive skin or those who haven't shown significant responses to past treatments.
③ Redness-Focused Type – Skin with prominent redness around the cheeks or nose
It is characterized by redness accompanied by subtle vasodilation, a sensation of heat, and sensitivity.
During Genesis treatment, a method of repeatedly irradiating with relatively high power is applied.
This can help stabilize blood vessels and contribute to improving skin barrier function.
④ Fine Line Improvement Type – Skin that is thin, dry, and has many fine wrinkles
It typically shows low moisture content, somewhat rough skin texture, and overall reduced elasticity.
During Genesis treatment, thermal energy is repeatedly applied to deep and wide areas of the skin.
This can induce collagen production in the dermis and help improve skin texture.
⑤ Pore-Focused Type – Skin concerned with acne scars or enlarged pores
This applies to cases where reduced elasticity around pores is observed or fine scars are present.
Applying deep thermal stimulation treatment can help with overall skin remodeling.

*Key Features of Kkeuthan Clinic Dual Toning
The dual toning performed at Kkeuthan Clinic,
does not simply mean a combined treatment using two types of lasers.
1. Depth and distribution of pigmentation
2. Sensitivity and regenerative capacity of individual skin types
3. Complex skin problems such as elasticity, redness, and pores
By comprehensively considering these factors,
everything from laser wavelength settings to output intensity, handpiece type, and number of shots is custom-planned for each individual.
Establishing a treatment plan optimized for each individual's skin condition,
this is a crucial characteristic of Kkeuthan Clinic's Dual Toning.

What is melasma, distinguishing it from general blemishes?
Melasma is not merely a phenomenon where melanin pigment is excessively produced and stains the skin.
In the deeper layers of the skin, pigment cells called melanocytes become overactive.
The melanin produced by these activated cells tends to spread over a wide area and recur repeatedly.
As a result, it is a complex pigmentary disorder that penetrates into the dermal layer and persists long-term.
External factors such as UV exposure or hormonal changes can further stimulate melanocytes.
During this process, subtle inflammatory reactions and vascular-related factors within the skin can also interact complexly.
Therefore, a common characteristic is a pigment pattern that is not simply dot-like but has indistinct borders and spreads widely.
While the number of melanocytes is usually found to be within the normal range during tissue examination,
there is a clear increase in the size of the melanocytes themselves, as well as in dendrites, which are the dendritic structures that deliver melanin.
This leads to more active and widespread transfer of melanin to surrounding skin cells.
Furthermore, in some patients with melasma lesions, vascular reactions such as subtle capillary dilation or flushing may be observed.
Melasma exhibiting these characteristics may be classified and diagnosed as 'vascular melasma'.
Rather than viewing melasma as a simple skin condition, it can be understood as a result of the skin reacting sensitively to external stimuli
and being in a structurally unstable state, triggered by various stimuli.
Therefore, beyond simple pigment removal, an approach that simultaneously addresses the underlying causes and structural instability of the skin is crucial.
While dual toning is recommended for other general pigmentary conditions, it can be an even more effective approach for complex pigmentary lesions like melasma, where conventional toning alone may not be sufficient.

Cautions
Results = Treatment × Aftercare. Please follow the notes below.
To prevent post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in the treated area, be sure to use sunscreen and avoid strong sun exposure.
It is recommended to avoid using exfoliants or peeling products that can irritate the skin for about one week after the procedure.
For one week after the procedure, please refrain from activities that may burden the skin, such as drinking alcohol, smoking, using saunas, or strenuous exercise.
